Arrested for sexual abuse of another woman right after their flight landed

A woman on a plane was charged with sexual abuse for something that allegedly took place during a weekend flight.

Heidi F. McKinney was arrested Sunday night at the airport in Portland, Oregon.

She'd been on Alaska Airlines flight 621 from Las Vegas to Portland when she was accused of touching another female passenger's breasts and genitals without consent.

According to the Port of Portland Police Department, "The plane was traveling over Oregon airspace during the time the crime allegedly occurred."

TV station KOIN says police were reportedly alerted while the plane was in the air and McKinney, 26, was arrested after the plane landed.

Prosecutors did not file a complaint against her. Then, McKinney told Fox affiliate KPTV, "Don't believe everything you hear."

She could still face federal prosecution.
