Boy, 14, arrested after shootout with suspect in car in North Philadelphia: police
PHILADELPHIA - A teen boy was shot, then arrested after police say he exchanged gunfire with an unidentified shooter late Monday night in North Philadelphia.
What we know:
The 14-year-old was standing on the 4500 block of G Street when he was struck in the leg around 11:14 p.m.
Police say he was shot by someone in a Honda.
The teen then pulled out a firearm and fired back, according to police.

He was arrested after being treated at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
Two spent shell casings were recovered at the scene, along with a weapon.
What we don't know:
The motive is unknown, and police have yet to release any description of the suspect.
