Boy writes heartfelt letter of condolence to Florida deputy mourning loss of K9
PALM BEACH, Fla. (STORYFUL) - A young boy in Palm Beach, Florida, wrote a letter to a local deputy after his K9 was killed during a mall shooting on Christmas Eve.
The Palm Beach City Sheriff's Office shared an image of the note on Facebook on December 27. It was addressed to a Deputy Ryan, written by a young boy named Cooper.
Ryan lost his police dog, Cigo, while responding to a shooting at the Wellington Green Mall, and Cooper wanted to express his condolences.
He tells Ryan that he will keep on praying for him, and assures him that he'll get a new buddy soon, and also asks him to keep "arresting bad guys."
The sweet note had over 1,000 likes at the time of writing.
