Cherry Hill ATM robbery suspect charged

Police say they have arrested and charged a man in connection with a robbery at an ATM in Cherry Hill.

According to police, after a Facebook post they received several tips that led to the identification of the male suspect. Police say Patrick Urso was arrested and charged with one count of 2nd degree Robbery. Urso was remanded to the Camden County Jail in default of $50,000.00 full cash bail.

According to police, on Monday December 5 around 8:45 pm, a female was using the ATM located at the Navy Federal Credit Union, 2100 Route 38. Police say a male approached the female from behind and attempted to steal the victim's cash. A struggle ensued and the victim was able to fight off the suspect. However, the male was able to grab a portion of the victim's money as he fled on foot toward Route 38, according to police.
