Couple who ‘gifted' daughters to Bucks Co. man sentenced to prison

The Lancaster County couple who "gifted" their daughters to a man have both been sentenced to several years in prison.

Last month, Daniel and Savilla Stoltzfus were convicted of child endangerment. Wednesday both were sentenced to 3-7 years in prison.

They'd said they gifted their children to a Bucks County man, Lee Kaplan, in exchange for money.

Authorities found 11 girls -- ages 6 to 18 -- living with Kaplan when they arrested him at his Feasterville home in June 2016. They believe six were sexually assaulted.

This June, Kaplan was found guilty on 17 counts of child rape with six girls. Several of the girls testified Kaplan had sex with them and that they considered him to be their husband.

He fathered two children with one of the girls after she moved in at age 14.

Kaplan is set to be sentenced on 17 counts on Sept. 20.
