Crew on flight from Philly taken to hospital after landing in Fort Lauderdale due to odor

An airline crew on a flight from Philadelphia to Fort Lauderdale were taken to the hospital after they complained of an odor on board.

A spokesperson for the airline says American Airlines flight 1897 landed safely in Florida around 11 a.m. Thursday. None of the 137 passengers needed medical attention. Two pilots and three flight attendants were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

So far, no word on what caused the odor.
