East Germantown shooting leaves man, 25, in critical condition

EAST GERMANTOWN (FOX 29) - One man is in critical condition after a shooting in East Germantown.

Police were called to the 200 block of East Haines Street Saturday, just after 5 p.m.

Authorities say police discovered a 25-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his side and chest.

The man was transported to Einstein Medical Center and listed in critical condition.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. One person was detained, but no details were provided as to that person's role, if any. No weapon has been recovered.
