Fire breaks out in abandoned dwelling in Chester, spreads to neighboring rowhome
A fire broke out in an abandoned dwelling in Chester Sunday night, spreading to the home next door.
The incident occurred around 3:05 a.m. in the 300 block of Broomall Street.
The original dwelling where the fire began was abandoned. It quickly spread to a house next door where two people lived and were evacuated quickly.
No one was injured.
Arson investigators are at the scene.
