Gwinnett Deputies Hope to Reunite Man with Lost Wedding Band

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office is hoping to reunite a man with his lost wedding band.

Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office took to Facebook to share a photo of the ring.

The post said the man likely lost his wedding band at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, Gwinnett County Recorder's Court or Norcross City Hall.

The picture accompanied a sentimental post:

"Maybe it's because I'm sentimental. Maybe it's because I'm hopeful. Maybe it's because my own husband lost his wedding band in the waters of Lake Lanier Islands a few years ago and I hired a diver who found it the next day under a bottle cap. True story. It meant the world to us to get it back.
So if you find a ring that looks like the one below (which is a photo of his wife's matching band), please let us know. We'd love to help this couple find a happy ending to their story..."
