Honda recalls over 400,000 cars over wheel detachment problem

Honda has issued a recall for more than 400,000 vehicles due to a manufacturing problem that may cause aluminum alloy wheels to detach.

Approximately 406,290 cars are being recalled, and the impacted vehicles are certain model 2016-2021 Civic vehicles with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels sold as accessories, Reuters reported, citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

This latest recall comes months after the auto manufacturer announced a separate recall in June for some Honda Pilot models related to a brake pedal issue.
