Husband shaves off hair in support of wife during cancer fundraiser

(STORYFUL) - A touching photo of a man getting his head shaved to support his wife in raising money towards The Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is starting to go viral.

The photo was posted by Felicia Neuber Tarantino, a campaign manager with LLS, on February 26 and she wrote that, "It was this moment, everyone realized why they did what they did."

Several teachers with Southern Lehigh High School, Pennsylvania, shaved their heads to raise money for the cancer society, and the man pictured in the photo is the husband of school teacher Joan Imms-Geiser.

The teacher's spouse showed up during the fundraiser carrying a bunch of flowers which he handed to his newly-shaven wife before taking the plunge himself.

The photo was also shared by Facebook page Love What Matters. The photo on Love What Matter's page has been shared over 1,000 times and liked more than 13,000 times.
