Illegal car meetup at Philadelphia Target leaves 4 officers injured: police
PHILADELPHIA - Chaos erupted overnight when Philadelphia police say dozens of vehicles tried to flee after gathering illegally this weekend.
At least 50 vehicles were found at the Target on Monument Road during an illegal car meetup just before midnight Saturday.
Officers pursued several vehicles, which they say were driving towards them at high speeds.

The pursuit ended when two patrol vehicles were forced to swerve, crashing into a pole and buildings near Broad and Tioga streets.
Four officers were injured as a result of the crash.
Three of them are said to be in stable condition after suffering injuries to their arms and legs. The status of the fourth officer is still unknown.
No arrests have been announced by police at this time.
