WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Jury selection is set to begin in the trial of two teenagers charged in the shooting death of a 19-year-old Delaware woman.

The prosecution of Abdullah Brown and Deonta Carney was to begin Monday in the 2016 killing of Keshall "KeKe" Anderson of Wilmington.

Wilmington police have said Anderson did not appear to be targeted. A second victim, a 19-year-old man, was found a block away with gunshot wounds to his leg and buttocks.

Brown and Carney were both 16 years old at the time. They were charged with Anderson's killing while already in custody at the New Castle County Detention Center on other charges.

Both suspects were charged with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, possession of a firearm during a felony and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited.
