Lincoln Drive closed in both directions at Greene Street

LINCOLN DRIVE (WTXF) - Here is an important traffic alert for those of you who drive on Lincoln Drive.

A water main break Tuesday evening has Lincoln Drive closed in both directions at Greene street, and it will remain closed throughout most of Wednesday.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly suggests these alternates:

Northbound drivers should take W. Hortter Street instead.

Southbound drivers should take Wissahickon Avenue instead.

Another alternative is Germantown Avenue.

We'll let you know when the Philadelphia Water Department announces road work is finished and Lincoln Drive reopened.
