Local 10-year-old brings snow shoveling business to life
WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - 10-year-old Amin Branch made the best of Thursday's snowfall, and started his own business shoveling snow.
"Instead of asking your parents for money, make your own money so you take stress off your parents," he said.
It all started with a school writing assignment. But when asked how he feels now Amin said he feels great that he is making a little bit of money and doing homework at the same time.
FOX 29's Jenn Frederick asked Amin what he will do with the money.
"I'm going to invest it," he said.
Amin attends the Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School.
He will shovel your sidewalk for $5, and yesterday Amin got over 20 requests via his Google document sign-up sheet.
Amin had an important message to all the kids out there.
"Work hard so you can make money and help your parents," he said.
