Los Angeles Lakers make wish come true for 18-year-old battling cancer

The Los Angeles Lakers helped make the dreams of an 18-year-old battling brain cancer come true.

Yitizi Teichman was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and had a tumor removed last year.

When the Make-A-Wish Foundation approached him, he knew right away he wanted to be a member of the Lakers.

The basketball team signed the teenager to a special one-day contract that was announced at a press conference on January 31.

As a baby, "my first word was Kobe," the teen told reporters.

The team gave him his own jersey, a chance to shoot with the players and a courtside seat to watch the Lakers play the Charlotte Hornets.

Even though the Lakers lost, the team gave this teenager a win he will never forget.
