Man, 45, Killed in Brewerytown Repair Shop Shooting, Suspect at Large

Philadelphia Police have responded to a fatal shooting in the Brewerytown section of Philadelphia.

The incident occurred on the 2700 block of Cabot Street inside of an automotive repair shop around 5:30 p.m. Monday

Police arrived on scene to find a 45-year-old man shot twice in the chest and arm. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene at 5:40 p.m.

Police are searching the area near the shop for a suspect.

A portion of Girard Avenue that was shut down while police searched for the suspect has since been reopened.

No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered.

Police say they are looking into a motive, and searching for surveillance video that may have captured footage of the suspect.
