Man accused of threatening police following brother's arrest

The brother of a man arrested last week for luring a child has been charged today for threatening law enforcement.

Last week Joseph Coleman was arrested for a reported online attempt to lure a 14-year-old boy who was actually an undercover officer. Michael Coleman, Joseph's brother, posted a status on Facebook threatening law enforcement following his brother's arrest.

Officials say Michael was present back on September 5 when his brother's home was searched for evidence toward the luring investigation. After the search, the Mercer County Prosecutor's office was contacted about his post.

He wrote:

"They notified me they locked up my brother at 3:15 pm in Robbinsville. As of 12:00 am still no word from him… Cop or no cop. Glad I wasn't carrying cause I'm sure I would have had capped one of those over steroids piece of (explicit) out. Yes one of you were very lucky I wasn't armed I would have protected my life, my mom's life and her property and got away with it cause it wasn't done by the book… Cops ever roll on me again like they did today! You better bring body bags cause people will die… So if your not going to do it right then neither shall I."

Michael was released pending future court proceedings and Joseph remains at the Mercer County Correction Center pending a detention hearing.
