Man pleads guilty to fatally stabbing woman in Porta-Potty
WILMINGTON, Del. (FOX 29) - A man has pleaded guilty to the October 2017 murder of a woman inside a Porta-Potty in Wilmington, Delaware.
Timothy James, 40, admitted to fatally stabbing 31-year-old Rashawna Weathers in Kirkwood Park on the 600 block of East 11th Street.
Police say James left a trail of blood from the murder scene back to his apartment complex. Authorities found Jones near the same park with a freshy bandaged hand in the days following the homicide.
Forensic evidence and surveillance videos helped link Jones to the murder, according to police.
Jones pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and related offenses. He is scheduled to be sentenced later this year.
