Man, Woman Expected to Survive After Frankford Shooting

FRANKFORD (WTXF) - Two people are in the hospital this morning following a late night shooting in the city's Frankford neighborhood.

It happened just before midnight on the 4900 Darrah Street.

Police say a woman was shot in the leg, and man was shot in the face and back.

The woman took herself to Aria Frankford Hospital, and the man was dropped off by someone else, and that driver struck one of the hospital pillars upon arrival.

Both are expected to survive, and the driver of the car was not injured.

Police believe the indecent may be drug related.
