Meek Mill says his grandmother's South Philadelphia home was vandalized

Rapper Meek Mill says his grandmother is the latest victim of vandalism in South Philadelphia.

The rapper tweeted surveillance video that he says shows someone spray painting the side of his grandmother's home and that the writing references "white privilege".

FOX 29 talked to people in the neighborhood who say vandalizing anyone's property is bad, but the possibility of a racially motivated crime takes their anger to the next level.

"Seems like a whole bunch of cowards wanna just be seen, make a name for self. Very uncalled for," Hattie Dunbar said.

Police released video on Friday confirming the vandalism. The suspect's whereabouts remain unknown.
