MISSING: Gold Alert issued for 17-year-old girl, infant from Newark, Del.

NEWARK, Del. (WTXF) - Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 17-year-old girl and her 6-month-old baby, who have been reported missing from Newark, Delaware.

Authorities issued a Gold Alert for I'Jahna and Nova Coombs, of Brookside Park, Saturday morning. Family members told police the two left the home on Chippendale Circle abruptly and caused concern for their welfare.

Police describe I'Jahna as a black girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She left the Newark home on foot with her daughter, who also has brown eyes.
