Philadelphia Police investigate shooting that injures a woman

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - A shooting has sent a 34-year-old woman to the hospital.

Philadelphia Police say just before nine p.m. February 1 someone shot the woman in the stomach.

The incident took place at the 7000 block of Wheeler Street.

Police say the woman was taken to Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital in a private vehicle where she was listed in critical condition.

Police have not made any arrests and no weapon has been recovered.
