Philadelphia Police investigating burglary at City Hall

Philadelphia Police are investigating a burglary at City Hall that happened Saturday afternoon.

According to police, at noon, officers responded to a report of a burglary at City Hall. When they arrived, they met with a male employee of the Christmas Village.

The man said that he was sweeping the perimeter of City Hall at the south Broad Street portal entrance, when he saw two unknown males trying to climb through an open window on the first floor.

After approaching the males, he immediately went and notified City Hall security.

When they arrived back the location of the open window along with the security personnel, it appeared that the males had fled the area.

A survey of the offices/rooms revealed no apparent damage, and it is unknown at this time if anything was removed.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 19-20-years-old, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans and the second suspect is described as a white male, 19-20-years-old, wearing a tan jacket and dark sweatpants.
