Police: Bicyclist dies after being struck by truck in Vineland

VINELAND, NJ (WTXF) Police say a bicyclist has died after being struck by a truck in Vineland, New Jersey.

The incident happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on West Oak Road in the area of Sarah Place.

According to police, a Mack truck was traveling eastbound on Oak Road when the vehicle struck a bicyclist, who was riding eastbound on Oak Road.

Police say the bicyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cooper trauma Center in Camden, where she later succumbed to the injuries.

According to investigators, no motor vehicle summonses have been issued at this time.
