Police ID 2 men killed in North Philly drive-by shooting

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Authorities say a drive-by shooting in North Philadelphia has left two men dead.

But a motive for the shootings remains unknown.

Authorities say someone in an SUV opened fire on the victims shortly after 4 p.m. Monday on the 2900 block of Wishart Street.

A 39-year-old man, later identified as Bryant McCoy of Port Richmond, was shot in the chest and back. Aa 24-year-old man, later identified as Charles Williams of Port Richmond, was shot in the head, chest and shoulder.

Both men were taken to Temple University Hospital, where they died a short time later.

No arrests have been made at this time.
