Police: Man, 19, Shot By Friend Following Argument in Cobbs Creek

Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital in the city's Cobbs Creek neighborhood early Christmas morning.

Police say a 19-year-old man was shot on the 5800 block of Rodman Street shortly before 12:30 a.m.

According to Chief Inspector Scott Small, the victim and a 22-year-old friend were inside a home and got into an argument, and the 22-year-old allegedly shot the other man in the abdomen.

The 19-year-old man was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition.

The 22-year-old was taken into custody without incident according to police.
