Police: Man, 21, shot in stomach after being robbed in East Germantown

EAST GERMANTOWN (FOX 29) - Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was shot in the stomach during a robbery in East Germantown overnight.

The victim says he was walking along East Woodlawn Street around 1 a.m. when two armed, masked men approached him and announced a robbery. Police say he was shot after giving up his wallet.

The victim was able to walk a block to his home before being transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center. He is currently listed in critical condition.

Police say the masked men entered a silver vehicle before fleeing the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing invesigation.
