Police: Man shot in the face is killed in South Philadelphia
SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - A man is killed after he is reportedly shot in the face, police in South Philadelphia say.
Police were called to the 2100 block of Taney Terrace Saturday night, about 10:15 p.m., on the report of a person with a gun.
When they arrived, police found a 49-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the face.
The man was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing. No weapon has been found and no arrests have been made.
