Police release photo of person of interest sought in fatal Center City hit-and-run

Philadelphia Police have released new photos of the person and vehicle of interest in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that took place in Center City on Sunday, August 6.

The hit-and-run, which took place around 3:20 a.m. on the 1300 block of Race Street, killed 53-year-old Ann P. Broderick of Kensington.

Broderick was crossing when a white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, heading eastbound, struck her in the middle of the road. She died shortly after being transported to the hospital.

Police say the Jeep has four doors, a white hard top, black wheel wells, white top large tires and a spare tire attached the rear of the vehicle. It may have right front-end damage.
