Police searching for two men with disabilities who left group home in Burlington County
EASTAMPTON, N.J. (FOX 29) - Police are asking for the public's help in finding two men with disabilities who left a group home in Eastampton, New Jersey.
Joseph Brockington, 56, and Juan Garcia, 58, left the group home on West Railroad Avenue on Nov. 1, 2018, and have not been seen or heard from since.
An earlier plea for public assistance by the Eastampton Township Police Department did not produce information on their whereabouts.
Both men are diabetic and did not have their medication when they left.
"We are concerned about the safety and well-being of these two individuals," Eastampton Township Police Chief Joseph Iacovitti said. "We are asking members of the public to contact law enforcement immediately if they come across either of them, or believe that they have seen them recently."
Brockington is described as 5-foot-10 and weighs 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Garcia is 5-foot-10 and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black winter hat and black pants.
Both men were known to have enjoyed walking to the Wawa located at the intersection of Route 38 and Route 206 in Southampton. They may not be carrying identification and may not be receptive to having a conversation with someone who approaches them.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Eastampton Township Police Detective Doug Townsend at dtownsend@eastamptonpolicenj.us or 609-261-1717, or the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office at prosecutor@co.burlington.nj.us or 609-265-5035.
