Pregnant teen among 4 killed in police chase turned fatal crash

New details have emerged in a police chase turned fatal crash that occurred in Delaware County on Route 322 Wednesday. Police say seven people, ages 16-21, were being chased in a red Ford Taurus on the popular route near Boothwyn when the driver lost control and crashed into a bridge embankment killing four of the seven including a pregnant teen.

Authorities say a pregnant teenager was among four people killed in a police chase turned violent crash on a Pennsylvania highway Wednesday afternoon.

Seven people, ages 16-21, were being chased in a red Ford Taurus on US 322 near Boothwyn when the driver lost control and crashed into a bridge embankment.

The violent wreck caused the car to catch fire, and investigators say the driver, 21-year-old Isaiah Miller, and passengers were trapped inside.

Pennsylvania State Police on Thursday said Miller, Ikeam Rodgers, both 20, and Kalyn Billips, 21, were pronounced dead at the crash site.

3 dead in police chase-turned fatal crash possibly connected to Lululemon theft in Delco

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Route 322 near Chichester Avenue in Boothwyn that left at least three people dead after sources say the incident may be connected to a shoplifting incident at a Lululemon just a few miles away.

State police observed the Taurus linger at a stop sign at the shopping center for some time, then park and three to four people got out of the car, including one person, police say, who was believed to be involved in a previous theft in the center.

Police say a trooper approached the Taurus. They got back inside and drove onto Brinton Lake Road, where police pulled the vehicle over.

They briefly stopped, then drove off at a high rate of speed.

During the pursuit, police say the Taurus sped, traveled in opposing lanes of traffic and used the shoulder to pass other cars, before violently crashing.

The deadly crash caused a stretch of Route 322 near Chichester Avenue to close for several hours.
