Relief fund for Schwenksville family who lost sons in fire surpasses $300K
SCHWENKSVILLE, Pa. (WTXF) - A Montgomery County community is rallying around the family of a sheriff's deputy who lost two of his children when his home caught fire early Wednesday morning.
The fire that tore through the home of Sheriff Deputy Bryan Lukens in Schwenksville, claiming the lives of his sons Bryan Jr., 11, and Parker, 6.
A family friend has started a relief fund on GoFundMe that quickly raised several thousands of dollars towards their $200,000 goal.

Deputy Lukens remains hospitalized with injuries in Lehigh Valley Hospital's burn unit but is expected to be released Wednesday afternoon.
His wife Tracey and 9-year-old daughter Soffia were transported to Pottstown Hospital but have since been released.
