Rogue eagle lands on Eagles fan at Cowboys stadium

A bald eagle landed on a Notre Dame fan ahead of the Cotton Bowl Classic at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday.

The impressive bird was seen landing on fans during the national anthem, just before the game between Notre Dame and the Clemson Tigers.

The animal eventually returned to his handler on the field, Yahoo Sports reported. The Clemson Tigers won the game 30-3.

"Oh, by the way, I'm a big-time Philadelphia Eagles fan," Tuyen Nguyen told ESPN. "And the eagle landed on me at the Cowboys' stadium. How's that?"

An omen, perhaps, ahead of the Eagles' do-or-die win over Washington and a critical Vikings loss that propelled the Super Bowl Champions into the playoffs.
