SEPTA offering free rides, adding express trains to Broad Street line for Eagles home opener
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - SEPTA will be adding nearly a dozen Sports Express trains to their Broad Street Line service Thursday night for the Eagles home opener.
Riders on the Broad Street Line will also travel free of charge from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. thanks to sponsorship from Miller Lite.
The Broad Street Line drops riders off at NRG Station, not far from Lincoln Financial Field.
A total of 10 Sports Express trains have been added to the line prior to the 8:20 p.m. game. Trains will run every 10 minutes from 6:05 p.m. until 7:45 p.m., supplementing regularly scheduled trains.
SEPTA will also run four extra pre-game trains on the Market-Frankford Line
