Shopper records mice at food court at KOP Mall

A shopper at the King of Prussia Mall recorded mice running around the food court.

It was just about closing time last week at the food court in King of Prussia Mall when Shaniqua Canty, of Southwest Philly, had guests for dinner.

She says she grabbed a sandwich at Chick-fil-A, sat down at a table and in no time, a family of mice came for dinner so she started rolling on her phone.

"Initially one--then one turned into three," she told FOX 29.

Canty who researches cancer for a living says she's no stranger to mice. After posting the video, some of the reactions were priceless. Someone also tagged King of Prussia Mall where FOX 29's Chris O'Connell sent the video late Monday afternoon.

Canty says although she's a little creeped out, there's really no hard feelings. In fact, you may see her back here soon.

"Wherever Chick-fil-A is I'm going. King of Prussia Mall and all and I'll be there," she said.

King of Prussia Mall released the following statement:

"The safety of King of Prussia Mall customers, including providing healthy and clean facilities, is always our top priority. All restaurants and eateries are required to maintain pest control contracts, as does the mall. All food service businesses are inspected regularly and must meet county health code regulations to operate."
