Spokesperson: Rowan University student's phone charger catches fire

NEW JERSEY (WTXF) - A spokesperson says a Rowan University student was taken to the hospital after a cell phone charger caught fire in the student's pocket.

It happened Thursday night.

The student was transported to the hospital by AN on campus EMS squad, according to the spokesperson.

No word on what type of charger it was.
