Suspect in Westtown Twp. bank robbery flees with cash, police say
WESTTOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WTXF) - Police in Westtown-East Goshen are investigating a bank robbery at the PNC Bank in Westtown Township.
The Westtown-East Goshen police say a man walked into the PNC bank on the 1500 block of West Chester Pike Saturday just before 11 a.m. with a note implying he had a weapon and demanding money.
Investigators say the man fled the bank on foot after receiving cash. The employees inside the bank were uninjured.
The man is described as 6'0" and 175 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a blue plaid shirt, khakis, white socks and grey sneakers.
