Swarthmore College to compete in the NCAA Division III Final Four
SWARTHMORE, Pa. (FOX 29) - Swarthmore College is heading to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to compete in the NCAA Division III Final Four for the first time in the program's history.
Senior point guard Cam Wiley says the players have worked long and hard for this amazing opportunity.
"Just want to stay in the moment, stay in the present, enjoy the experience while it lasts," he told FOX 29.
Freshman George Visconti, from Union County, New Jersey, says it's all pretty surreal.
"To be able to reach this milestone with my teammates as a freshman is just unheard of. It's almost where do you go from here?" he said.
Coach Landry Kosmalski says he couldn't be more proud of the group on and off the court.
"It's just a huge milestone for the program. The first couple of years were tough," he said. "Year-by-year you just get a little bit better."
