Teen escapee ID'd as murder suspect; 3 juveniles in custody

Authorities have captured three of four teenagers who overpowered a corrections officer and escaped from a youth detention facility in New Jersey.

Authorities found Donovan Nickerson, Raymir Lampkin and Stephine Woodley in Bridgeton on Wednesday, more than nine hours after they fled from the Harborfields Youth Detention Facility in Egg Harbor City, about 36 miles away.

Michael Huggins remains at large. Huggins was charged with the October 2016 murder of Davonte Lee in Bridgeton, N.J. Early Wednesday afternoon, three state troopers stood guard in front of a cruiser and an officer stood in back of what sources tell FOX 29 is the Bridgeton home of the escaped, alleged murder suspect.

Huggins should be considered dangerous. Police say he should not be approached if seen, and anyone who does see him should immediately call 911.

The Atlantic County Sheriff's Office says the youths drove off in the guard's car, sideswiped a vehicle and crashed into a home before they ran off. Two were wearing only underwear.

The guard was taken to a hospital and officials say he is expected to be OK.

One of the suspects is 18, one is 17 and two are 16-years-old.

Mary Campbell saw the juveniles running at midnight as she was putting out her trash.

"Then I got scared cause whatever that crash was and 3 guys running like that not safe to be outside," she told FOX 29.
