Tennessee woman chugs beer before police arrest her

A woman in Tennessee took the term "take one for the road" to a whole new level.

A dashcam video released by the Blount County Sheriff's office shows a recent traffic stop with a surprise ending.

After a brief chase, the pursued car comes to a stop in the middle of the road just before an intersection. A woman and man emerge from the vehicle and immediately surrender to police.

But just before authorities are able to slap their handcuffs on the woman's wrist, she begins chugging the beer in her hand.

The closing officer knocks the can out of her hand, kicks it away and proceeds with the arrest.

22-year-old Julia Myers was charged with more than ten offenses, including driving while impaired, felony evading and reckless endangerment.
