Toddler found shot in the finger in Kingsessing: police

A 2-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after a shooting in Philadelphia's Kingsessing neighborhood.

What we know:

Medics responded to the 1200 block of South 51st Street around 11:22 a.m. Wednesday.

They arrived to find a toddler suffering from a gunshot wound to one of his fingers.

The child was taken to CHOP, where he is said to be in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered.

Police have yet to release any further details about what led to the shooting, or any possible arrests.
