WATCH: Little girl and dog both want dad's attention after returning from military drill

LANSDOWNE, Pa. (STORYFUL) - One member of the family had to be the first to greet dad when he returned to his Lansdowne home after a military drill.

Caroline, the dog, can be seen lying on her owner Billy's lap, blocking 9-month-old Savannah, who was trying to reach for her dad.

Shannon Redheffer told Storyful how her dog behaves around her husband. "She has to be the first one to be greeted. If not, she just inserts herself," Redheffer said.
