Weather Authority: Election day showers to dampen walk to the polls

Make sure you pack that umbrella before you head to the polls to vote Tuesday as scattered showers and storms are expected to drench the area throughout the day.

The morning was off to a foggy start for most of the area, but expect the majority of Tuesday's rain to fall mid-day.

A cold front moving through the area will also bring a chance of thunderstorms, especially in the southern parts of our area, including South Jersey and Delaware.

Temperatures will be milder Tuesday with a high of 68 degrees, but we'll start to cool back off Wednesday and into Thursday.
