Woman, 20, shot and killed while sitting in parked car in Olney

OLNEY (WTXF) - A 20-year-old woman has died after police say she was shot as she sat inside of a parked car in Olney early Tuesday morning.

Police say 20-year-old Andrea Myers, of Abington, was sitting with three young men smoking pot inside a Nissan Altima in the alley behind the 5200 block of Westford Road around 1:30 Tuesday morning when two hooded gunman approached and opened fire. In a second security camera view, one of the young men inside the vehicle can be seen scrambling to safety inside his home. The three men escaped without injury but Myers was fatally wounded.

As police scoured the alleyway for clues counting 19 bullet holes in the Altima and one other vehicle, the older brother of one of the men inside the car--he asked that we not show his face--could only shake his head in disgust.

"It's just ridiculous. It's nonsense. It's nonsense. It needs to stop. It needs to stop," he said.
