Woman fatally shot in Frankford Tuesday afternoon

FRANKFORD (WTXF) - Police in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood are investigating a shooting that left a 25-year-old woman dead Tuesday.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Sanger Street around 1:10 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found the 25-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to Einstein Hospital by medics, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been made at this time.
