Young girl with debilitating medical condition brings smiles to millions' faces with adorable video

(WTXF) - A young girl with a rare blood condition has amassed a huge online following since last year after posting several adorable Zumba dancing videos. Now, she is adding karaoke to her talents!

7-year-old Audrey Nethery from Kentucky has Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA).

It is a life-threatening bone marrow condition that affects her body's ability to circulate oxygen.

Because Audrey is not able to produce enough red blood cells, she has faced many health issues in her short life, according to the Daily Mail.

However, she is still a fun-loving kid in many ways who loves to put on a show for her mom and dad.

And thanks to the internet, she has been able to perform for 14 million strangers as well.

Audrey's parents, Scott Nethery and Julie Haise, uploaded a 3-minute clip of the young girl performing to the Selena Gomez song "I Love You Like a Love Song" to Facebook.

Despite seeming not to know all the words, she belts out the chorus and adds some sass to her dance moves.

Since it was uploaded, the video has racked up more than 14 million views, 270,000 shares, and 205,000 likes.

And since her parents use Audrey's Facebook page to bring awareness to her condition and raise funds for the Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation, they are likely thrilled by the response.

"Diamond Blackfan Anemia is an emotional roller coaster that always seems to speed up and even go upside down at times," Scott wrote on Facebook.

According to the Daily Mail, due to her her condition, Audrey has undergone 20 blood transfusions, and will most likely have to endure more in the future.

Half of people living with DBA need a transfusion once every three to five weeks, the Daily Mail reports.

Audrey was also born with a cleft palate and a hole in her heart. Also, she isn't growing as fast as her peers, in part due to the steroids she needs to take for her condition.

However, her father Scott told the Daily Mail, that Audrey has a lot of energy and a positive attitude: "Audrey is a happy, loving, smart, little girl who loves to dance, listen to music, and collect dolls and stuffed animals. She is incredibly strong and leaves an impression on everyone she meets!"
