Young man born as a result of a one-night-stand searches for father via social media

(STORYFUL) - A young man has turned to Facebook to help him search for his biological dad, whom he has never met.

Jette Collins was conceived after his mother had a one-night-stand with a man she met at a music festival called Krockathon, in New York state in 1996 and is now on a mission to find him.

All Collins knows about his dad is how he met his mom, that his name is Jason and that he lived in Syracuse, New York.

Collins hopes that the post will go viral and get him in touch with his father, who may not even know he exists.

The photo of Collins searching for information was shared over 8,000 times on Facebook since it was posted on March 2.

Collins was interview by The Show on radio station KRock and joked how he wasn't allowed to go to live music events because of his mother's experiences.

The young student said that he was curious to find out who his father is and would just like to meet him. "I just want to know if I'm hotter than my dad," joked Collins while on the radio.
