Members of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania task forces have been deployed to North Carolina as officials there are warning of dangerous flooding amid Tropical Storm Debby.

Tropical Storm Debby is expected to make a second landfall in South Carolina sometime late Wednesday night, bringing intense winds along the South Carolina coast and parts of North Carolina.

From 600 emergency calls and 77 rescues, officials from Burlington County say the rain caused major flooding leading to a lot of damage.

Overnight showers on Tuesday dumped buckets of rain across the Philadelphia-area and more rain is on the way as Tropical Storm Debby churns up the east coast.

Last year Earth was 2.66 degrees warmer than it was before pre-industrial times. It may sound insignificant, but it can be harmful to human health.

The remains of Tropical Storm Debby will crawl up the East Coast over the next several days, bringing heavy downpours and storms to parts of our area.

Everything from PATCO service, to the Zach Bryan concert at Lincoln Financial Field and National Night Out for various communities all fell under the deluge of rain and severe weather.

The latest forecast predicts Debby could restrengthen over the Atlantic Ocean and then move inland again near Charleston, South Carolina, by Thursday.

A cold front has descended on the region and stalled, which in turn kicks up the rain and thunderstorm chances, while Debby is still churning along the coast of the Carolinas.
