Weather Authority: Sunny skies, not as humid Wednesday

The Philadelphia area is slated for another hot day Wednesday, with partial cloud cover and temperatures topping out at 89 degrees.

Wednesday will also prove less humid than Tuesday.

By Thursday, skies will grow more overcast. Showers and thunder are also possible.

Hurricane Chris continues to present a moderate risk of rip currents in our area. Beaches in the Maryland area will face a higher risk than those in New Jersey.

Temperature will remain in the 80s, with lots of sunshine, for the remainder of the week.
